Cautions, Contraindications & Usage

Contraindicated during the early stages of acute illness such as cold and flu, or during an acute infection. Contraindicated for conditions due to Yin deficiency or excess heat. Use with caution in Spleen Qi deficiency.

Administer half an hour before or one hour after eating. In severe cases or in the initial phases of treatment, dosage may be increased to 8-12 pills 3 times per day, then reduced to a maintenance dose as the treatment takes effect. May be used long-term for several weeks to several months. May be used over the course of several years. For patients with a tendency to digestive upset, it may be administered along with a small dose of Fu Zi Li Zhong Wan.
